Mountain Tea

Mountain tea is a genus of flowering plants (Lamiaceae) and Sideritis and is a therapeutical herb with many qualities. It is said that it took its name from the Greek word “sideritis”, literally translated as “she who is made of or has iron”, due to its quality to treat injuries caused by iron objects. Another tale says that it took this name because as a drink it contains lots of iron, thus, it is a natural source of it.
